Computation of Neuronal Population Dynamics in Response to an External Stimulus
Wednesday - JUL 13, 27 - 2016 (16:00 - 17:30)
Amin Nejatbakhsh

The study of neuronal population dynamics is usually considered as a hard problem. In this talk, first we are going to compute the population activity of a network of randomly coupled neurons and discuss what assumptions is needed to reach the final solution.

Next, we are going to formulate the population dynamics of a network of randomly coupled neurons, derive the continuity equation, and discuss the Fokker-Planck approach towards this problem.
